Question from a new guy

This might be a really dumb question..but I am new to this stuff. Anyway, I sometimes use an FM Transmitter in my car to listen to my ipod. I know that with an FM transmitter the sound quality is not as good. My question is, can using an FM Transmitter permanently corrupt or modify the mp3's that are on my ipod in any way?

Any input would be appreciated, thanks.

nope, it's just an accessory to the iPod, it won't do anything to the files (music, movies, photos, ect) stored on the iPod.
