iPod keeps unchecking album artwork!

Hi,
I have no idea why this keeps happening, but my iTunes/iPod is taking it upon itself to UNCHECK the display album artwork function. I have reloaded my iPod three times because of this, and after a few days/weeks, it automatically does it again. This is really annoying and I'd love to figure out why this is happening. When I recheck the button, only the tracks that didn't have artwork because of iTunes unchecking the button display artwork, and the rest are blank again. How can I prevent this from happening again? Why does iTunes just decide to go into the program and uncheck the display album artwork button? It's no fun having all of the artwork on there, only to lose it every three days.

Thanks in advance,
Shaun

Well I am afraid I can not help much.

It is my believe that the screen art never worked correctly and is bug in either iTune or the iPod or both.

I addition to losing art over time I find the art get scrambled too... Wrong cover with wrong MP3.

To me no big deal.

OK, I reloaded everything AGAIN and the same problem described above happened...AGAIN. This is what I found had happened. I plugged my iPod in BEFORE iTunes loaded, and once it did, the main iPod screen did not have all of the choices (like Videos, etc.). It opened the iPod as if it were a non-video iPod. I disconnected and reconnected and the normal video iPod screen came up, only display album artwork was UNCHECKED. Now I think I know how it's been malfunctioning for me, but why does it revert back to an old iPod screen if I'm using the video iPod? Weird. Please help or share your similar experiences. Thanks!
