Just a heads up to everyone regarding a member here, L3w1S. I recently (last Tuesday) sent $150 via paypal to L3w1S for an iPod he was selling in the classifieds. He promptly responded to my questions, but once he received the money his communication, except to state he would ship "Friday or Saturday," stopped. He has not responded to my numerous e-mails or PMs. I just filed a complaint with Paypal, so we'll see where that goes. But I'm not holding out much hope. I fear I've been screwed. Hopefully this notice alert others so they don't suffer the same fate. :(

Finally received the iPod today. All this could have been resolved easily with a simple reply to my numerous e-mails and pm's, but it took filing a dispute with Paypal to get the seller to respond. The iPod arrived in like new condition as described, but was missing the car charger.Again, this experience is a good example how lack of communication, particularly with internet transactions which involve nameless, faceless individuals, can lead to people believing the worst. A simple e-mail or PM would have gone a long way toward easing my concerns.
