Rest in peace, Peter Boyle
RIP Peter Boyle. one of my favorite actors died this morning at the age of 71. Most probably know his as Raymond's dad on Everybody Loves Raymond, but I'll always remember him as the Monster in Young Frankenstein. :(

Eh, that's sad. I remember him most for Young Frankenstein, too.

That's really sad since he wasn't super old... He could've done more great things, and he did do great things.

Probably the funniest, most effective example of the heavily used "walk this way..."
That's really a shame--he was a very good actor.

This is terrible, sad news. I remember him most in Young Frankenstein, but he was in a lot of movies. The most memoriable one for me besides Young Frankstein is Joe, which was his first major film. He also starred in Taxi Drivcer and The French COnnection.

I enjoyed his role on Everybody Loves Raymond, which is probably the only thing I saw him in. RIP.

You never watched the movie Young Frankenstein?
Boy, are you missing out.

I'm glad he was around to finish off Raymond though. It would have been sad if he wasn't around for the last show. RIP.

I'll always remember him as the mobster Dundee in Johnny Dangerously :D

That is sad. Actors and actresses die all the time, but it seems so rare for it to be someone who was still working - I'm constantly reading about some deceased person or other who was in the Industry way back in the 30s or 40s. When it's someone whose worked so recently, it seems more shocking somehow.
RIP.
