Nano Help Please.

A few days ago I deleted some playlists on my Itunes ( that were also on my ipod nano) and my Ipod nano lost all of its songs, but the songs were still on itunes. When I plug the ipod in it says on itunes "Songs on the ipod "ipodname" cannot be updated because all of the playlists syncing no longer exsist" I tried to reset the syncing options but they dont save on itunes, i clicked apply or whatever and when try to update the ipod it goes back to the option "update only selected playlists" When I try to restore the Ipod I get the error " -50 " and error " 1418 " . I updated my Itunes and Ipod. I searched the apple.com forums for the error msg's and the -50 doesnt show up and the error 1418 doesnt work ( the solutionsd they offered dont work I tried all of them) I removed itunes from my pc and installed it again but I still got the same error. It also says when I try to edit my ipod settings " unable to update error -50" and then it sayd " the disk can not be read from or written to"

by the way, its a 2g Ipod nano.

Please Try and help me.

Thanks In Advance.
