Podcasts

I'm a college senior studying music technology and recently we've been having several seminars on Podcasting. i didn't realize how useful it can be, and can be used not only for promotion for educational purposes to post notes, answer questions, gather information, etc. Lectures can be posted as podcasts and instantly available to students. We've been experimenting with this a lot, does anyone have similar experiences or ideas to share?

I haven't been to university for a around 5 years now but see podcasting a great way to automatically deliver lectures.Are you just having audio podcasts available or is it video.
Seeing this is an ipod forum - you could offer enhanced podcasts , audio podcasts that have chapters and each chapter can have text title and a picture - this would be helpfull, I think.

some teachers are using video and other just audio depending on the nature of the class. For example, photoshop classes and things that require visual aids are the video podcasts. Core classes are just audio. Great stuff though!MinorKeys at 2007-11-15 15:13:14 >
