# 5 Re: Forum: New Style
woah i like it and it seems faster... adn i like the change in the quick reply... thanks ilounge you are the best...
# 6 Re: Forum: New Style
So they'll be killed twice?
Or will they be put into an endless loop of deaths  . Because they die then put to death, which makes them die again, which would mean they would be put to death again.
I like the new look way better, much cleaner.
# 7 Re: Forum: New Style
New one, especially since they changed the buttons. (Quote, Quick Reply, ect.)
# 8 Re: Forum: New Style

i went with the old
yeah i guess.. it has little bit of busy look to it.
# 9 Re: Forum: New Style
also i don't if they are going to change it but you have to click private message in order to change your personal
settings.
# 10 Re: Forum: New Style
i like the new one, it's sleeker. especially since they moved the user name and info back to where it belongs!
# 11 Re: Forum: New Style
I think I liked the old better than the new. For some reason the thing about the new being faster is kind of true for me. Anways I thought the old was easier on the eye for me? I don't know
# 12 Re: Forum: New Style
The forum looks so much better sleeker, and more futuristic hands down. However I went with the old since the new is a bit confusing this will take a few days to get used to. A few things on the forum is hard for me to get around and try to figure out how to do something like view new posts.
The large buttons are a little bit much to me, and the name could be smaller. Overall this change is good, but it'll take me a while to get used to. Plus, the old style was a lot more simple beautied with the orange and such. Well...
RIP Old iPodLounge's forum style we knew thy well
Hello new iLounge's forum style
# 13 Re: Forum: New Style
While I have never been a fan of "change for the sake of change" I find the new look refreshing.

# 14 Re: Forum: New Style
I do like the new one, but would prefer the Forum column in New Posts to be closer to the Thread/Thread Starter column.

# 15 Re: Forum: New Style
New look is nice. Also, the forums list has been pared down and the topics are tighter. I always thought there were a few too many redundant forums.
# 16 Re: Forum: New Style
Personally I like the old ones more.
# 17 Re: Forum: New Style
also i don't if they are going to change it but you have to click private message in order to change your personal
settings.
Clicking on "Quick Links" at the top right under "Search" gives you access to your User CP.

WOW! I'm glad that I like this change, the staff seems to be on the offensive here...

# 21 Re: Forum: New Style
I like the new setup of the Forums. combining some of the topics was damn smart. and I definitely notice an increase in speed compared to the old design.
# 22 Re: Forum: New Style
And when the staff AND Enjoilax are on the same side... That could be dangerous.
I like the new one better in a lot of different ways. It'll take a couple of days to get used to but the first impressions were good.

Good job you do ;)
Not on the offensive - not even defensive. Just nudging peoples memories.

# 24 Re: Forum: New Style
What I was trying to say is that I do like it (the icons) but my browser seems to have some problems with the Quick Links button.
# 25 Re: Forum: New Style
The new one seems to take a little longer to bring up in Firefox, so I think I prefer the old one. And the avatars and post, quote, and quick reply buttons are freakin' HUGE!

^I'm finding that too. Usually with the ads.
Inspite of that, NEW wins hands-down for me.

# 27 Re: Forum: New Style
new, mainly because it's better but i havn't got used to it just yet!
# 28 Re: Forum: New Style
bdb,
Avatars are no bigger than they were before - the Edit/Quote/Quick Reply have been reduced in size.

Hahaha, I think you got caught there my friend. Just man up to it, we'll respect you more than you trying to explain yourself :D
# 30 Re: Forum: New Style
I like how the new buttons stand out more (Quote, Quick Reply, etc) but the multiple shades of gray combined with the white is a little weird to read.

# 31 Re: Forum: New Style
I've been playing around with the new features and have to say that I like the new much better. It will take a little time to get use to the new layout but I think it's much better. I like the add-ons.
# 32 Re: Forum: New Style
I can't see how anyone would think that this is a step backwards.
Good work on the update!

# 33 Re: Forum: New Style
The features of the new forum are really great, but I still prefer the older layout. If the old layout was done with the new features and slightly less orange then it'd be perfect in my book.

# 34 Re: Forum: New Style
The new layout it what prompted me to post for, well, fun. It is easy to use and appealing.
Great job, iLounge!

# 35 Re: Forum: New Style
I can't honestly judge. I've been to the forums not that much lately (quite a qhile actually), so I kinda forget. I will have to see the old to make a judgement.

New is a winner.
Unless Bob has something on me from 04' he wants to "remind me" of.............
# 38 Re: Forum: New Style
I like the old one for being more seperated category wise but the new one is better because they actually have the name of the poster under the thread name. (seriously, how could you not have one of those before?)

# 40 Re: Forum: New Style
I like the new layout better. The new features are definitely a plus, but it seems a bit cluttered. There's a lot of text and buttons.
Meh, either way...I like it.
# 41 Re: Forum: New Style
New one's easier and better looking. The "quote" featuer and the added functions in the quick reply is also nice to see.
# 42 Re: Forum: New Style
i was glad when iLounge upgraded, they needed an upgrade to this new vBulletin.
I vote for new
# 43 Re: Forum: New Style
What used to require one click from the main page, now requires three. :(

Hmmm. After getting used to the UI over the last 24 hours I think I can better clarify my statement.
I like the new icons and the silver-greyish look.
However, I find the old Quick Links (now renamed shortcuts+settings) a little user friendly. I guess it just takes getting used to.
# 45 Re: Forum: New Style
Galley,
2 extra clicks? Careful you don't wear yourself out there ;)
Kristiano,
Don't you mean "a little user UNfriendly"?..............
