hello. my shuffles name is Luca.

He hasnt been in a good mood for a while. after a year of use, he decided he doesnt want to work anymore. I was just happily listen to some tunes in the yard and all of a sudden the music stopped! and i saw a red light on the shuffle.. what does red mean? can only be bad. He died?

After countless efforts, he is undectected by my mac or 2 other pcs. When plugged into usb drive i get the amber flash. itunes, ipod updater or the os dont dectet him. when i switch him on i get a green light, as normal - but when i press play i get the green and amber combo.. i dont know whats going on. I tried restoring him by reinstalling the software .. on my pc i get an I/O Error and the mac doesnt even get that far.

Any help would b appricated, possibly the battery is dead? or is frozen im clueless.
