Ipod + MP3/CD player in a car
Hey guys,
i got a MP3/CD player on my car... i have a USB port on the cd player which allows me to plug in a USB pen and play MP3 files on the USB pen on my cd player.
i laos got a 4th genenration ipod wth a clicker wheel 20 GB + a USB cable... out of the blue i connected the ipod wth the usb cable to my Car's MP3/CD player hoping i cud play the songs on my car. the ipod gets recharged once i connect it to my MP3/CD player but it wont play songs..
so do u guys know of any MODS/HACKS that will let me play songs on my ipod on my cd player by using the USB cable? if so please tell me thanks in advance

I suppose you could set a cetain portion of the iPod in disk mode, load the mp3 songs on there and play them through your cd player that way...

indeed i suppose i could do that since my i have 20 GB space... i dont use all of it... i can split it... but can u please tell me how to set up a portion? much appreciated

BTW, once u do that, the new MP3 will be played at higher quality since yer not using the less than stellar analog section of the iPod AND u will be able to display track info of the songs. Too bad u have to maintain 2 copies.

i don't do it so no idea... yer welcome to search the forum and look for "partition," "set aside" blah-blah. or wait 'til someone jumps in.
Wire me $50 and I'd do the legwork for ya :D

lol if if i had that much dosh on my id go to a shop and buy some slick parts for the ipod n get them to fit it for me ;) thx for da offer thou
