If there are lyrics in the song in iTunes, these should be transferred to the iPod. They will show up from the "Now Playing" view simply by clicking the centre button to cycle through the various song info screens on the iPod.

This assumes that you're using automatic synchronization, of course. If you're manually managing your iPod's music library, you would have to either add the lyrics directly to the song on the iPod (through iTunes), or re-transfer the song from iTunes by dragging it to your iPod.

If you're looking for a way to import the lyrics into iTunes automatically, you would need to get a third-party software application package like iArt or iLyric.

Is there an automatic solution for Windows iTunes? iLyric is Mac-only, right?

yeah, is there a Windows version of something that automatically searches for the corresponding lyrics to your songs and updates them through iTunes?

Actually, I just found out that iArt will import lyrics as well. Still have to try it to see how it works, though.
