I have a horrrrible habit of leaving my ipod unplugged for days (Or in this case.. a week) and its dead. When I plug it in to charge it goes to the apple logo, then it seems it's a pot luck as to whether a battery logo with lightning that's only about 1/4 full (It does not charge it's been plugged in for a day) or a sad ipod.

I really dont think leaving something unplugged for a few days should KILL it... it's rather annoying. If anyone could help me it'd be appreciated.

I've tried restarting
I've tried diskmode (It doesn't go to it)

I'm hoping theres a free solution.. becuase I really dont have much money right now.
