Hello all.

This is my first time posting on this website...and saddly, its one of a technical difficulty that I'm having with my favorite accessory.

My 4g photo 60g has been acting VERY strange as of late.

Frequently it will try to play a song, skip to the next and continue to try and play...then freeze or stop. After I reset my iPod it a) won't pass the apple boot up sign or b) tries to boot and I get the unhappy ipod face.

While this is happening, I can hear the harddrive spinning trying to do its task...but there is also a somewhat audible click, then the sad ipod face again...

I was able to restore the ipod once...but...RIGHT AFTER it did the unhappy ipod thing again...

However, now its working fine. I still fear that these problems will arise though...

What do I need to do to keep these problems from occuring?

Can I get a replacement?

I also forgot to add that my ipod supposedly erased my entire song library (prior to my restoring it of course) one day...then the next...they all returned?!
