Some Video Converting problems

So i have been using videora to convert some short movies into iPod ready videos.
However its not working quite like it should
The Video starts as a .mov file of about 250kb
I Convert it into H264 320x240 768kbps Stereo 128 kbps. All this using videora default settings.
The file however, Gets bigger to over 800kb, is turned into .mp4 and plays terribly in quicktime and itunes. It plays one or two tiny bits of video every 20 seconds. The sound however is perfect. Also if i click somwhere on the seek bar it shows me that the movie is actually there just not being played properly. In the video's properties it says it has 600fps!
Help!

Welcome. You need to give people a chance to respond, don't bump it the same day you posted, & use the search function (link on toolbar) plus your post was in the wrong forum.

Check the sticky at the top of the forum for the OS your using. Your settings are wrong:

I Convert it into H264 320x240 768kbps Stereo 128 kbps. All this using videora default settings.

SP/320x240/768kbps Stereo/128kbps & don't use H.264 codec.

2nd. As far as I know, Videora's H.264 codec settings will NOT play on the ipod. You have to encode in SP. The settings I like to use are SP/368x208 (To keep widescreen)/768kbps/96kbps Audio

I hate videora. Got my files converted just fine, they loaded into iTunes, but nothing on ipod, so I said forget it, and just gave up. I went out on a hunt to solve things MY way, and the RIGHT way. I was sick of getting crappy, out of sync (Audio & Video) movies on my iPod. So, here's what I do...

1.) Load a DVD in my DVD ROM Drive.
2.) Open my ImTOO DVD ripper (Got through lmwire)
3.) Take the .avi file that it creates, and open it into PSP Video Express (found on download.com)

Then I set my settings (320x240), hit the button, then it converts it to a .mp4 file which I then can load into iTunes, then onto my ipod.

Unlike videora, this method actually WORKS for the iPod. (At least for me.) I can't get anything I make in videora to end up on my iPod, though they work in iTunes. So yeah...

There's my advice. Hope it works as good for you as it does for me.

Quick question, what codec are you using in DVD ripper?
