Removing Scrathes

Hi all,

I just bought an iPod nano about 5 days ago. I was brand new and beauitful. However, today i accidentally put it in the same pocket with a lighter...and it scrathes up my iPod really really BADLY on both side! (I had been super careful with it for the pass day but finally screwed up) The fact that I bought a black one made matter worse...

I know that at this point there is no way to reture my iPod to its new condition. But is there ANYTHING i can do to remove SOME of the scrathes or make them less visible? I notice some scrathes removing product or some glassware and aquarium. Do they work? Is there such thing for my condition? Anyone has any experience with removing scathes from iPod?

Thanks

Hey I'm new to this boards too. I just bought some iCleaner and I'll let you know how it goes when it arrives. It should be here by Thursday.

My iPod is used, my dad gave it to me since he was not using it. I'm on an intensive care program with it and I'll post pics when I'm done.

I'm not sure if this will work with the nano, but I know for sure it did wounders with the scratches I had for my 4th gen ipod. It is a product you can easily get from lowes or at home depot. It is called Brasso Brass Polish. It has taken off all the small noticable scratches from my screen and the back of my ipod. Not sure if the same results will work with a black colored ipod, but hey it is worth a shot if you are seriously ####ed off with all the scratches.
