HeadPhone Port

Hi,
The line out headphone port on my ipod has become loose and the headphones cut in and out .
is this an easy fix ? If i do send it off how much will it cost and will i get a replacement untill ?

Try ipodmods.com. I am somewhat ####ed that Apple won't fix mine. It is only 5 weeks out of warranty. I called ipodmods and they said it would be about $60 with shipping.

Here i am again. For some reason mine has started working again. My guess is that there could be a little carbon (or some type of "dirt") build up and it was causing the problem. I stuck a small screwdriver (yikes) down the port to try and do a little further cleaning and scraping. All seems well now. Anyone else had any similiar type issues?

I as well have the same problem wondering if anyone has found any other solutions... I don't think dirt is the problem.
