Personal Area Network TEC Hat

Hi All!!

Here is something I found over @ ThinkGeek.com

http://www.thinkgeek.com/apparel/hats/7c73/

this could turn out to be a really nice product for nano users. The hat has 2 hidden pockests built into it, one in the brim of the hat, the other on the side of the hat. Obviously I'm thinking the pocket on the side of the hat would work great for the nano, just wrap up the majority of the head phone cable but leave enough unwound to get to both of your ears. Unfortunately the hats will not be available to 11/07/05.

Now to explain how I think this would be a kickass product. I was at a friends house the other day playing poker and she and I swapped iPods during the poker game. The nano is so small and lightweight I couldnt feel it in my pocket, but the headphone cord kept getting in my way throughout the night. Though she complained about my monster of an iPod photo 60GB :p Now having a hat like this you wouldnt need to worry about dangling head phone cords while doing everyday things, such as workout, run to the store, playing poker etc. I've already sent this link to my friend, she is seriously considering ordering one of these hats. if she does I'll force her to give me a review of the hat!

I imagine switching songs would be heck. But...well, I'm a hat guy. This is like the Swiss Army knife of hats.

just set your nano to shuffle mode and go. thats how I normally listen to my iPod, just shuffle the entire library. but I bet you could learn to change songs by feel after a while.

Huh...hidden ear loops...so, what, would the earbuds be hidden while the hat is on? How low does it come down on your head? If it just looks like a low cap, with the buds underneath, I just got myself a method of surviving the family barbecue where everyone keeps talking about how I'm a gadget-loving recluse.
God Bless America. Or Japan, who ever came up with this hat.
