The svideo on the regular dock for color iPods looks great with video, so I'm guessing the SVideo on the universal is just as good. I'm going to hold out on the Universal Dock & Remote until Christmas because my older dock does the trick just fine.

I bought one, but I'm not sure why other than it can't hurt to have another dock handy in case I need it.I have three ipods: a U2 Color 20 gig, a Nano 4 gig and a 5G 60 gig (all black, of course). I've got two ipod friendly stereos: a JBL On Stage at home and a JBL Monster at the office. I use my U2 for commuting, my Nano for working out and my 5G for listening at home. I've downloaded a couple of Pixar shorts and this season's Lost episodes after renting last season's DVDs. I don't plan to do anything fancy like try to watch my iPod videos on tv or download any videos on the 5 gig other than what iTunes might offer.
So I don't think I really needed a Universal Dock, but like I said you just can't have enough docks lying around. If anyone has any suggestions for me, though, I'd appreciate it.

I was going to but since I'd have to take it out of the case to dock it, and out of the case it's suceptible to scratching etc, I decides I'll just use the dock connectorScarpad at 2007-11-15 16:05:47 >
