iJet Remote usability while wearing snowboarding gloves?

For those that have the iJet remote, how easy is it to use if you are wearing snow gloves?

I took my ipod snowboarding last season, but I was in a bind when I needed to pause it or skip to the next track. So I was thinking of getting the iJet remote since it's water resistant. I was going to attach it to the pocket zipper of my jacket. This way I can just hit the buttons without worrying. But my concern is how easily can those tiny buttons be pressed while wearing snow gloves.

Are there any other alternatives I could look into besides the ridiculously expensive Burton ipod jacket?

ipod jacket!! cool

anyway

it would depend on the type of gloves you have i take it there not very thin. i doubt you would be able to use it well enough. but if u get the remote and gloves give it a test right now. if you dont get cold easy (like me) just wear thinner more skintight gloves it dosent bother me in the slightest.

i prefer the ipod shuffle when doing things like snowboarding just make sure u got no bad tracks on it and let it go.

The iJet... God, I love this thing! Blows the AirClick out of the water!

I've taken it snowboarding several times so far this season. Works like a charm. The remote is the perfect size. Small and out of the way. I've only had problems hitting the play/pause button through my gloves since its so damn small. But I can get it pressed eventually using the corner of the fingertip on the glove. It's not really an issue, since I just hit play once and let the ipod run non-stop until I take a brake.

The Next-Prev Track and Volume buttons are perfect size. I have no problems hitting those through my thick snowboarding gloves. The response is instant. So even though I may have a hard time hitting pause once in a while, I can lower the volume to "mute" in a second if I need to have a conversation with someone.

Water resistant so I've never had a problem with all my wipeouts or pressing the buttons with my wet/snow covered gloves.

I've got it attatched to the chest pocket zipper of my jacket using a keychain ring. If I'm going down the mountain, I can easily use the remote without slowing down. Might be a problem for skiiers since they will have the poles in their hands.

The only negative I have is that it's not really designed for the mini. The transponder juts out over the side. But that is a flaw with the mini for having the jacks off to the side and not centered. Definitely not a nuisance though.
