The new iTrip that connects with the dock connector actually has a mini USB port on the bottom. All you have to do is get the USB cord and plug it into a USB->cigarette lighter charger adapter.
Just go to Griffin's site and look for the dock connector iTrip and Powerjolt. But you will have to buy the USB cable seperately, you want a mini to full size cable.

FM transmitters suck as a general rule. DLO makes the best one (order from their website DLOdirect.com since the resellers don't have the latest version yet), but it's still not going to be CD quality.

i just purchased the kensington digital fm transmitter/ auto charger. works nice. has 3 different presets for channels. sound quality is what i expected. kind of staticy. not to bad i seem to notice more static on heavier songs. i assume i just may need to find a better channel.
ilounge wont allow me to post sites so search on dealtime or pricegrabber. i got mine for 40 because i work at an electronics store

i have the wireless iTrip and found that the Razr car charger works as well, and is a ton cheaper than they try and get you for elsewhere. And I honestly do not have many problems with static on mine.
