Altec lansing inmotion freeze ups - Help!
Hello. I've had my ipod 40g for a year and find that whenever I use the altec lansing inmotion speakers, my ipod freezes up after playing for 6-8 hours. The battery on my ipod doesnt show that it's being used (like when I listen to it with headphones). It just shows a 'plug-in' symbol...even after playing it for prolonged periods of time! No sign of the battery ever going down. If I play it first without the speakers, and then insert the ipod into that dock, it shows that its charging with no problems. Why doesnt the external speakers ever show the battery statice?
I get at least 12 hours of playing time when using the headphones.
I don't like to use the speakers much now. At least with the headphones, I know where I'm at in terms of listening time. Whenever my ipod freezes, I just leave it on, ignor it, let the batteries drain over night. When the apple icon appears the next morning, I can then recharge it. Frustrating! Pressing on the Select-Menu buttons don't work in this case. Any ideas?
