Just a question...

I have a 4th gen 40GB iPod and am changing to a 30GB 5th Gen. This inspired me to clean up my itunes library. I went from 35GB down to 25GB, but now I have 10GB of files sitting on my computer unused.

This is where things get tricky...I wanted to clean out what I have without manually having to go through thousands of files. I had looked into using the itunes "consolidate library" options but I don't think it will work for me because I know it copies your music, thus doubling the amount of music on your hard drive and I only have 10GB free on my drive.

any other ways of doing this??
