alphabetical song list problem
songs by someone like "bob dylan" is listed under 'b', not 'd'. however, things like "the postal service" is under 'p', not 't'. is there a way to list them alphabetically by last name without naming them "dylan, bob" or have it recognize the first name and not count it, much like it doesnt count "the postal service" in the t section? (have you noticed im very anal about my organization?)

Except for "the," which is a special case, I don't think there's any way to teach the software to recognize what is a first name and what is just a word. In some cases, even intelligent humans might have doubts about this. How would you file Wolfgang Press, Essex Green, Jethro Tull?
I don't think this is anal -- it's a legitimate desire, and in an ideal world, it would make a lot of sense to have, say, Ludwig von Beethoven filed under "Beethoven," or John Lennon under "Lennon," which is how we really think of them.

its also how they are listed in cd stores. i must say, i previously had a rio karma (god rest rio's soul) and had to switch to an ipod cause the karma didnt work on my new ibook. but the karma not only recognized first names and "the", but it new "the" in different languages. "die aerzte" was under 'a' not 'd'
