made a fool of yourself while listening/ not paying attention?

the other day, i was coming out of one of the main Liberal Arts buildings on campus, completely zoned out, listening to some drum corps snare lines. walking along, i managed to plant my foot half on the sidewalk, and half off. quickly resulted in a rolled, and lightly sprained ankle. feeling like a moron, and trying to play it off, i limped away.

and you?

Wasn't there already another topic like this one? Anyway, I was listening to my iPod in my college's lounge with everyone looking at me for a few minutes, then I realized that I was listening too loud that sound leaked out of my earbuds!

Yeah, I made it a few months ago, but oh well.

I was in the library listening to music, when I apparently started singing along and playing air guitar to the song. It was embarassing, but it was all in good fun. This happened again during class while I was doing homework.

i searched, and found nothing. guess i didn't use the correct terms.

apparently i completely zone out when listening to particular music. i've run into 2 pillars in the past week.

Not so much when I'm using my ipod, but certainly in the car with my stereo blasting. Also at home but no-one see's me there, well at least I hope they don't.

I tend to play the drums on my steering wheel which results in some sort of change in song or volume (multifunction wheel). I then freak myself out. :p

I often stop to wonder why the person in front is peering into their rear view mirror .. oh that must be because of me looking like a fool !!

i have the ex 51 headphones and i was walking in my student union (UF) where i had some ketchup from wendys on my binder i was holding horizontally, then some girl bumped me. thinking nothing of it because i heard nothing due to the sound isolation/ipod on, i walk up to study with this cute girl in my crim law class. as im walking up (about 5 seconds after being bumped), i look down and a TON of ketchup is all over my cargos. i immediately take an about face and just walk away. apparently she did not see the ketchup and i made up some BS excuse about not being able to sit with her.

I think it's probably the image of someone singing loudly in a church that makes it funny. Hahaha.

I got my iPod video 3 days ago, and I'm just really psyched that my iPod plays videos, as opposed to my boring old 4g monochrome. So I was on a walk this evening around 7, and I decide to utilize my iPod's amazing video features. I take it out and boot up an episode of Samurai Champloo, and I'm just staring at it, looking up every once in a while to make sure I'm not running into the middle of the road or something. About 10 minutes later, I run smack into this jogger. The best part was that he didn't notice me because he was listening to his iPod while he was jogging, so we just laughed at each other and kept going. These things really are all over the place nowadays.

Well just a few months ago I was walking down the street listening to my iPod, and I see two really cute girls, and then they turn around and start smiling at me, I smile back thinking it's very odd. When I realize that my cell-phone is ringing, and my tone is Baby Got Back. not just the music the ACTUAL song blaring from my cell phone...I'm not wondering why they were smiling anymore.

I watch Family Guy and the Simpsons on my 60G 5G at the gym when I'm on the bike. I can't help but laugh out loud. I find that people don't like to hear laughing when they're working out. Maybe because they think I'm laughing at them. Oh well.

Durring the summer last year when I was taking some extra classes, I had some time in between to rest or take some notes down if i ever needed. Anyway I decided to take a nap while listening to my ipod and well i never noticed but my phone was ringing the whole time i was listening to the ipod laying back on the couch. I had a bundle of people around me when I woke up. I was just like what? Still not realising my phone was ringing. Oh when i answered found out it was a sales person from 24 hour fitness he never hanged up once.

Well, if this thread wasn't a reason to avoid iPoo owners I don't know what is.

I guess the only thing I could think of doing is running and watching a movie but have I actually done it... NO.

BTW, all you guys with video don't get any smart ideas about doing something stupid with the video feature while you're driving... At least while I'm on the road anyway. :sigh: I've probably already sparked ideas.

I remeber back when i still had my 4G white iPod i brought it into work ( i worked at a rental car place) I was listening to a song with a WICKED guitar solo and i air-guitar'd along not knowing that there was a lady behind me about to ask if i could help her load something from her rental car to her personal car. I think she caught the whole act. Ahhh embarrasment :-)
