help - best case for color U2 Ipod

I don't mean to be an idiot... but I'm looking for feedback on what cases people are using for their U2 Ipods. I was looking for a clear case so that the engravings on the back are visible...

For my u2 ipod, i use the leather incase folio special edition. Its red and black (made specifically for the ipod u2) and has a see-thru panel in the back, so the signatures are visable. I think its a great case, and keeps the ipod well protected + free from scratches!

that's a great suggestion - too bad that case isn't available anymore. :(just went on ebay and there's one available for $150...

wow! thats a bit over the top (for price) i am in the uk an i paid about 35, i guess thats around $61, but it is a good case!But i think $150 is a lot of money to blow on a case...just how much do u love your ipod ? lol:p

That's actually the case that I picked up for it... I just haven't opened everything up yet. though, i'm slightly concerned that my monster plug-in for the car might not fit in the bottom of it. The bottom port *looks* like it would work... but...

I also use the Contour Showcase (in black). It's a great case for several reasons. Good protection and a good display of the back. I use it for my white 60 GB color/photo and it fits like a glove. My son has a 20 GB non color and with the inserts provided, it fits perfectly. The opening at the bottom has pliable rubber around it that I'm sure will allow your monster plug-in to be used. Thanks for the suggestions - I was able to use the contour show case, and tested it with my 4G 40 ipod... worked great with the Monster cable.Thanks for the suggestions! Now...to just figure out how i want to organize my 2nd ipod collection... :)
