Help "The disk cannot be read from or written to."

Every time I try to transfer songs to my Shuffle, I continue to get the message, "The disk cannot be read from or written to." I've updated everything, still doesn't work. I've even restored factory settings. Someone please help.

how do you transfert you songs with itunes ? If it doesn't work i say try using realone player 10 and or winamp with the plugin. if that doesn't work try talking to a apple tech about it and if he can't do a thing about it just send it back to get another one. you might try to transfert songs from a friend's pc to see if the problem is you ipod or you computer.
