iSkin Duo Going Back; Keeping ezSkin!

My iSkin Duo (artic frost) arrived today and I have to say I'm a little disappointed. The case is definitely well made and the packaging and everything else are pretty nice but overall I really prefer the ezSkin (frost) to the iSkin. Here's why:

1) The ezSkin is a lot thinner. This is to be expected since you have two layers w/ the iSkin, which obviously adds some protection, but to me the difference was noticeable enough to be annoying. Plus my ezSkin protects the nano just fine.

2) The iSkin's screen protector is too small - I think it's slightly narrower than the actual screen so the edges get cut off and look distorted even if you are looking right at it. The ezskin has a bigger screen protector and nothing looks distorted.

3) The iSkin collects dust more easily than the ezSkin. I've been using the ezSkin for 2 weeks now and it barely collects any dust. I took the iSkin out of the box and set it on my table for 5 minutes and it has all sorts of lint attached to it.

4) This is perhaps the most important issue - the iSkin's headphone opening is way too narrow to fit the wide plug on my Shure e3c's. The covers for the dock connector and the headphones are kind of unnecessary in my opinion, but it is the double thickness of the case which makes it a no go for the Shures.

5) An added bonus with the ezSkin - I can still use my iPod dock with the case on. Fits in nice and snug.

If you just use the inner layer of the iSkin it's actually pretty good but the little grips that stick out on the sides are annoying and I would say it's maybe a little too thin - not much protection at all.

I will definitely say that the iSkin is very well made - the cutouts are really smooth, the screen protector stays in place and the two layers fit one another perfectly. But given all of the issues above, I'm keeping the ezSkin and the iSkin is going back.

Just thought this would be helpful to people who are trying to choose between cases. Not trying to bash the iSkin.
