Agent18 or iSkin Duo

What case would you recommend for the Nano, the Agent18 or the iSkin Duo and why. Thanks, TBybee

The Agent 18 because the iSkin Duo is incredibly ugly and I hate the dual layer design.

Agreed. I too was deciding between the two, and just as I decided on the Agent 18, the iSee was released for the Nano. That's what I will be ordering!

Yeah the iSee is a nice case if you don't want the frosted look that the Agent 18 comes with. Oh and if you need a belt clip.

there are 2 recessed areas on the Agent18, right on the side...i'm wondering if they are planning a belt clip attachemt later on? that'd be nice; a simple, removable belt clip. still dig my A18, though.

So are both the Agent18, and iSee cases out? Web only, or can I check them out at the Apple store?

I would like to see them in person, or read a review on both of them before deciding which one to buy.

The Agent 18 is already out and the iSee gets released November 7th.

They look almost identical in thickness. The iSee is a tad more unnoticeable, but with the Agent18 you don't have to remove the case to dock the Nano.

i have to wonder how many people are going to complain because the iSee will likely scratch or scuff. i think Agent18 played it smart by texturizing the the front and back of their case. have i menioned anywhere yet how much i like my A18 case?

Be careful if you go with Agent 18s case. I bought it seeing it as the best option and I've had problems with it. They do tell you straight up not to assemble it and then slide the Nano in before attaching the 3rd piece or you'll scratch it, but being a 3 piece design lends to a major flaw in my book. I dropped mine from about waist hieght onto carpet and the bottom third piece came off instantly (it doesn;t lock on well at all) and the Nano slid out and scratched.

i order my agent 18 case on sunday of this week. I go tthe worst shipping which is ground shipping for 5.67 dollars and total paid 25.67. I live in the USA and they said it should arrive at my house on this thursday. I got the Agent18 because 30 dollars plus shipping just seems to high to me and i think that the dual layer will make it to bulky. Also those things attact dust and it would be to much work to have to wipe it off every single day. The Agent18 is also plastic so it will be good protection.

i find that hard to believe that you dropped the Nano, while in the Agent18 case, and it fell with enough force to not only knock the bottom piece off, but also force the Nano out of the case.

to experiment, i just took the bottom piece of my case off, and shook it...it took a good thrust for the Nano to come out.

and now i have a nice scratch down the middle of my screen. doh.

i got a piece of plastic, sorta like the stuff dell uses when they ship monitors now. its like a sheet of plastic. anyway i cut it so it goes right to the edge of the screen and on the bottom right where the dock is.

its impossible to tell anything's there just by looking at it from afar. works well. and its free.

the a18 case will fit 1 of those on one side of the ipod only, so putting 2 pieces of plastic, one on each side, probably will not allow the case to close.

Sadly, there wasn't much force to the drop at all. I was plugging it into the charger and lost my grip. That bottom piece just doesn't lock on as tight as I think it could. I even wonder why the case isn't two pieces like the rest of them. Imay even endup placing tape around it.

Anyway, I'll be adding a screen protector to it under the Agent18 this weekend. I could care less about any other part of the body scratching as long as I can see the screen clearly.

Oh, where you said you got one big scratch, I got a bunch of little ones that look like a jagged line just under my screen. It didn;t slide all teh way out but enough to do that.

I looked at the Duo case in the Apple store. It looked like the window on the case was smaller that the screen size of the nano by a good 1/8th inch. Can anyone who owns one confirm if it it cuts off any of the screen or not. I don't like the idea of a 10% restocking fee if I don't like the product.

i have the agent18 and i'm not too happy about it
you know how you can remove the bottom part supposely for docking? the removing of that cap scratches my nano badly!
plus it's a milky white plastic so ur nano won't look as nice in it

i just bought the xtrememac iceframe and i'm impressed w/ the high quality materials used in it, thought it's huge
