Another Album art help question

OK edited my last post....

My question now is,
Is it possible to get the album art to go full screen on the nano?

Or is it possible if I choose a gif with wider dimensions it will fill the screen more?

It looks a bit rubish and small on the screen really, bit of a let down...

I format all my album art as 250x250 JPEGs. Looks quite good on my nano, although I'm sure it would look awesome on the 5G. I don't think I'd ever use a GIF.

You say you format your album art to 250x250; sometimes I copy a rather large photo and paste it in to the album art space.

My question is, doesn't iTunes format whatever picture to a certain size to fit in the audio file without adding too much size to the file?

If not I think I will start to do what you are doing.

Does putting lyrics and album art take up more space?

No, iTunes leaves the file the same size. That's why it's important to me for keeping some control on the size of the file. I usually use my nano now, so I want to see the album art, but I don't want to waste any more space than I have to.

It absolutely takes more space. Album art takes more than lyrics, of course.
