mac/pc

im getting a white 2gb nano tomorrow and i was wondering, do you have to buy a particular one or does it come with both... if you understand what im saying. i remember with the old ipod you had to buy one for mac and one for pc.

it will work for both windows and mac, out of the box. as long as you have usb and the other requirements listed on the box

I think you are confused. There was never an iPOD specific for the Mac, and another specific for the PC.

In the ole days however, Mac people uses the Firewire interface, and PC people use the USB interface. Since FW is bee dropped for the Nano, u have now NOTHING to worry about, except to get yourself a USB port if your old Mac doesn't have one.

Right. And there wasn't one that worked for PC only.
