Software Update Suggestions
A few niggly things and suggestions for the next software update (1.1?):
-photos are pretty useless on the nano, except to show to friends what it can do. I dont like too much on the main menu, so prefer to not have it there - but to get to photos if its not on main menu i need to go to settings>menu>scroll down>select it and put it on the main menu, then the same to get rid of it. I think photos should also be in the extras menu somewhere.
-pressing 'menu' from main menu should take you to "now playing".
-if the backlight is off, pressing select should just put it on.
Any more for apple feedback? Do they take any notice?

I'd vote for the above, plus a font size option.

I like your suggestions, andyv. The photos one I don't care about much personally, since the only images I have on my Nano are Album Art, and it's not like I'm gonna scroll through Album Art =P
Another suggestion: Make the lyrics view stay permanently until the user decides that he or she no longer wants to see it. Currently, the lyrics go away after several sections unless the user scrolls up or down.

Agreed. This makes the lyrics feature about useless. It's stupid to need to keep scrolling up and down to keep the lyrics on the screen.

Good idea for the lyrics.
There's an ipod feedback form on the apple site which i filled in.
I also suggested they update it so it lists the nano in the ipod drop down list, and listed iTunes beyond version 4... :rolleyes: Maybe nobody ever looks at it... :)
