how to unlock ipod nano

my brothers ipod nano seems to be locked, so he cant put any songs onto it, how can he unlock it?

Locked how?He plugs it in and you can't transfer songs to it? Have you set it to Automatic Sync yet in iPod preferences?
Or the screen is locked ... then you just need to plug it into a computer and it will unlock.

so you posted it in ipod nano forum. I guess that yout brother set password which you can find extras > screenlock. I never use this feature 'cause useless. anyway, did you try to restore it by ipod updater? I think that it should be working with that.

If your transferring music from two computers onto your ipod you have to select the manual thingy on ipod menu or if its jsut one you can have it on automatic. (if this is what you mean)GCsMADEman at 2007-11-15 14:32:40 >
