Music has disappeared from Ipod!
So I had my Ipod connected to Ephpod and was transfering music. I didn't realize how low the battery was and my Ipod shut itself off. Now when I turn on the Ipod it says there is no music.
However when I connect to my PC again I can see that the music is still there if I look in the Ipod under ipod control/music.
Ephpod still won't see the music and neither will Itunes but it is there.
Any Ideas on how to restore it all without manually copying the 25gb of music on to my computer and then reloading back onto the Ipod?
Thanks!

As long as space is still being used under Settings>About then the songs are on the iPod and you need to reset the iPod and the songs should appear on the screen. Plug it in and make sure it is charged also.

Thx for the reply. I did what u suggested but its still not displaying the music. I checked settings/about and the music is still taking up space.
It says there is 7gb free space on the 30gb Ipod but says there is 0 songs.
I did the reset by holding down the 'menu' and 'start/pause' buttons at the same time.
Is there another way of resetting?
Thx!
# 3 Re: Music has disappeared from Ipod!
I have the same issue just different circumstances.
I update iTunes to the latest version and it asked me to update the iPod (4g 20GB) to the latest iPod updater. However, after i was done, all my music and playlists were gone, artist albums, etc... all empty. If I browse the iPod with explorer I am able to see all my music (which is good news) but how do I get it back?
Any ideas or suggestions??
P.S. About shows the following...
Songs 0 - Capacity 18.5GB - Available 924MB - Ver 3.1
