Hello,
I am about to send my U2 4G iPod to Apple for repair. In an attempt to fix it, i accidently deleted my playcount from my music library by sending it to a portable harddrive then reimporting it. I did this in order to try and copy all the music off my iPod without the concern of their being doubles.
Anyways, I have all of my music that was originally on my computer, but have given up in the attempt to import any of the music on my iPod. Unfortunently, in this process, my playcount has ben deleted, yet it remanisn on the iPod. Is there any way to extract the playcount from the iPod? And what file is it stored in?
P.S.- I want to update the playcount on my computer without syncin my iPod, im afraid I might loose everying on the iPod and also loose the playcount for good...

Any help would be greatly apreciated.
