LockUpd 20GB B&W!

I have done some searches on this and not found any solution for an un-explained lockup. My 20Gb has been sitting since 7.28pm on the menu screen with the back light on and nothing will stop it or controll it. I havent recently connected it to a fire wire or updated it or anything. It has just locked up. The last time it done this I remember it taking hours and hours to sort it self out. In fact I think I had to wait for the battery to run out. Can anybody help me?
Cheers
Scott

Scott--

Have you tried resetting?

For 4 g's hold down the menu and select (button in the middle of the scroll wheel) buttons until you see the apple logo on the screen.

For 3 g's, hold down the menu and play button.

If resetting doesn't work, I'm afraid you'll have to wait for your battery to completely drain.

Good luck--
