im having a problem with my ipod. I always charge my ipod to the full, i never disconnect in the middle of a charge cycle.

The Other week i switched on my Ipod and it played fine, the battery was on the half mark. suddenly i get the message "Your Ipod has run out of power, please recharge" - i was shocked and annoyed! as i knew that the battery should last longer, so i done a reset. when i resetted, the ipod battery bar displayed empty but then gradually started increasing and then stopping just below half

I switched my ipod on today and the same thing happened, so i reset and everything was ok.

does this happen to you?, how do i stop it?, is my ipod damaged?. surely the battery cant need replacing as i only got the Ipod in april

please help
