Ipod froze!

Ok, I was just chillin out listening to music & someone was calling my name so i paused the song. After, i pressed play and nothing happend it froze, the ipod just froze. So i try a reset and no good it won't reset it's just frozen. Please help,

This has continously happened to me too with my mini. Its getting worse now - about every time I turn off or pause the mini won't wake back up. A reset always fixes it but what a pain and also it then erases any ratings or playcounts since I last synced. This last time my Menu button stopped working - it would not respond when pressed although all other buttons would. Again - a reset fixed it. I am finally tired of this happening though so I am going to send it in to Apple to get exchanged. I sorta hate that thought because I have babied my mini and it has no scratches and I hope that the refurbished one they send me will look as good.HillUCLA at 2007-11-15 14:37:34 >

This has happened to me as well. The first time I turned it on and It started shooting through my songs 1 by 1 then a few clicking sounds and done! I returned that one and a few weeks after I got my replacement it just locked up. I tried every troubleshooting step that they said to do. Safe to say they sent me a new one. Granted with all this I will never buy another Ipod again. Personally if a person has an issue with the same product over and over why would you send them the same crap again? I should of got an upgrade in my opinion. But this is most likely why you dont see the mini on the shelf anymoreicondrummer at 2007-11-15 14:38:33 >
