podcast confusion

I'm an ipod newbie & have a question about podcasts. I have just run the ipod updater so I believe I have the latest ipods software / firmware.

I see "Podcasts" menu at 3 places on my ipod:
1) Podcasts on the Main menu
2) Podcasts on the Music menu
3) Podcasts on the Genre menu

However, the Podcasts that I have subscribed to in iTunes only show up on the Podcasts menu under Genre's.

How can I get them to show up on the "Podcasts" menu that appears on the main menu?

Confused,

JLF

I've experienced this too (back when I bothered to leave room in my mini for podcasts). I believe it's a bug; I would pull up the list through Music -> Podcasts, and only then did the list show up in the Main Menu. Only happened some of the time, as far as I remember. *big shrug*

How do you update your IPod when you connect to your computer?
I was having the same problem a while back. I noticed that I was only updating selected playlists to my iPod, so I had to check the Podcast box so all of my podcast would be uploaded to my iPod. Finally my podcast showed up on my iPod in the Podcast folder in the main menu. If you have the "Automatically update all songs and playlist" option selected, try checking the podcast tab in the preferences tab. Make sure you select the podcast you want uploaded to your iPod.
