can somebody please help me.

I got the monster cassete adapter for my ipod and i notice i get static while i am listeing to the songs. Then i read some stuff about buying to sony adapter so i tried that and still no luck still static. I also tried cleaning the tape deck and still static but i used the cheap cleaner.

I am stuck...what should i do?

by the way i am using factory installe stero system and tape deck on a 2003 jetta.
