Newbie needs list of supplies for installing IPOD
Can someone please list what I need to connect my IPOD to my Kenwood kdc-x889? I have heard that the Kenwood interface isn't that great and want to use the aux input. Please post model #'s and links if possible. I am really confused. Ithink I need something called a sik imp? Thanks.

You might get a better response if you did a bit of homework first by searching the forum (and other sites) to find out what is involved instead of simply expecting others to tell you what to do.

Digital is right, you could have found the answer real easy if you searched, but since the answer is so easy as well, I'll just post it...
You need 2 things:
1) The SiK imp as you mentioned
2) 1/8" to RCA adapter, it looks like this http://www.radioshack.com/product.asp?catalog%5Fname=CTLG&category%5Fname=CTLG%5F007%5F002%5F001%5F002&product%5Fid=12%2D2057 you can get any brand, I just found this link to give you an example.
Plug the SiK imp to the bottom of your iPod, then plug the 1/8" jack into the SiK imp and plug the RCA into the AUX input of the kenwood.
