Holder for mount? Im confused

Okay, so I want to have a mount for my ipod in my car, I've already found one online that's specifically for my jetta. Do I need to buy a holder for the ipod to go on the mount? How does it attach to the mount? If I have to buy a holder for it to go on the mount why don't they sell them together?

Yes, you need a mount and a "holder". They don't sell them togther because there would be too many combinations of vehicles and devices. The "holder" will attach to the mount with screws. The website explains this.ncskier at 2007-11-15 15:53:46 >
