Headphone idea

This seems like a really bad idea. It would damage the headphone's plug or the connection to the actual heapdhones. Also, if you were using earbuds/canalphones it could rip them from your ears and cause physical damage to you. If you were using full-size heapdhones it could damage the headband.

You could also use it with an iPod parachute,so the headphones wouldnt be ripped out of your ears, you would just notice a slight tugging on your ears and then you could pick it up. :)

think of it this way. Ever had your headphone wires get hooked onto something? walkin through a busy hallway at school and someone's backpack hooks onto your wire? Or the wire gets hooked onto a corner of a table or something?

although its rare, that happened to be before. And no damage was done because the wire just became unplugged from the ipod. Now if it was clampped onto the ipod, the wire would have pulled the ipod out of my pocket and it would have fallen onto the ground.

the clamping idea would be nice for the nano, but a 60gb would just fall and take the headphones with it. So it would not only damage the ipod, but the headphones too.

and it wouldnt be much fun if your EU10 dropped to the pavement.

although this has nothing to do with headphones, but why not get a silicon case, it prevents any movement let alone slipping
