EAC doesnt workd!!!

Seems like nobody here knows anything about EAC....however I tried the instruction of Teqnilogik from this Forum but the only thing I could figure out was how to speed up the speed but it still don't convert the files into MP3. I don't even think that this program can do that. Only extract the waves of the cd. Pretty useless in this case.

Please, give us longer than 2 hours to answer your question. There are a lot of people here who know how to use EAC so don't get your panties in a bunch.

There you can find the Lame mp3 encoder. I highly recomend using 3.97b1 simply because it is surpasing 3.96.1 in quality, is faster, and will soon become the final version. Hydrogenaudio considers 3.97b1 stable to use. Just a note though, the filed you download will be in the *.zip format and you will need to Unzip the lame.exe file. If you use 3.97b1 then use the following command instead of preset standard: -V 2 --vbr-new

If you use Lame 3.96.1 then use the following command : --alt-preset standard

With Lame 3.96.1 or Lame 3.90.3 it is better to use the "--alt-preset standard" command while Lame 3.97b1 is better to use the "-V 2 --vbr-new" command. The presets (preset standard, preset extreme, and preset insane) are being abandoned with future Lame releases. If you use Lame 3.07b1 then you should really use "-V 2 --vbr-new" as it produces higher quality files that the preset standard command.
