i have been desputing which ipod i should get since the video ipod came out nearly a month ago. Its between the ipod nano and the video. I dont care about scratching at all so that isnt an issue. atm i got about 3GB of music and a list of 50 albums which i am getting soon. I suppose i could just rip all of the tracks which i like onto a nano, but then i will feel restricted with only 4GB of memory. Having 30GB would mean i could carry my whole music library and some videos with me. I do a paper round on a morning and a night which i ride my bike on. I would like to listen to my ipod on that. Would it skip if i was riding my bike while listening to it? The advantage of a Nano is that it is a flash based player and will not skip like the regular ipod. Also what is video like for size/weight? i dont want to be carrying a brick around with me every day. So, what should i go for:

Video:

A player with huge memory
video playing capabilities
A big physical size/weight
may skip
will break if i drop it
more faults with the ipod video

Nano:

Small physical size/weight
skip free playback
small amount of music
no video
only faults i know about are scratches
can use with ease when riding my bike
