Dont know what Happened

I plugged my Ipod into my computer and got a thing on my screen that said to update my Ipod i clicked on it and now on my Ipod screen it shows a icon of plugging it into the wall. I really dont know what to do since i dont have a wall charger for mine if somebody can please help me out it would be greatly apppreciated.

the only way you can go on is to havea wall charger. The wall charger reflashes the memory so it functions properly. you should have gotten one when you bought your ipodsqueakerbox at 2007-11-15 13:04:06 >

i did the same thing, and when i plugged my ipod into the wall the Apple came up then the screen flashed and now my ipod is dead. It won't respond to anything. It just sits there, nothing happening at all. i have tried resetting it but nothing happens, just blank. It won't even turn on!!!All this just to restore my old firmware so i can have Playlists that update on the go.
Currently my ipod is charging (been on about 1 hour) but still no joy!
