U2 Special Edition
Hi,
I wanted to get a U2 special edition ipod but Apple doesn't sell them anymore. I'm tempted to buy one somewhere else, but not sure if it's best to wait and see if Apple comes out with a U2 special edition based on the video ipod.
Any thoughts?

What is it about the U2 edition that you like? The colour? The signature (there is one, right?) or the fact that it's limited?

I've been a fan of U2 for many years, so for me it's a collector's item. A super cool collector's item! :D

p.s. I'm just scared that Apple will not make one anymore and I will miss out on getting one. Unless I go to ebay.

Apple won't make one anymore. eBay will be sure to have some. Check Amazon too.

go to www.colorwarepc.com and get one painted jetblack with a ferrari colored click wheel...and BAM u got a u2 looking one

But really, try craigslist.org for one, someone near your town might have one for sale!

U2 iPod was not a one time deal. They had a U2 Special Edition for the older black and white iPod and then they released a U2 Special Edition for the color/photo iPod. So it seems natural just to make a U2 Special Edition for the newer video iPod.
But if it's pretty official that they won't, I'll go to MacMall :D

Oh i meant it was a one time thing for the ipod ipod, like regular ipod B/W or photo. Well its looks like your about to get one! Cheers! ^_^

Hmm..at MacMall it's just the b/w iPod they have. I'll have to look else where for the color version.

go to the macmall homepage than scroll down and u will see that it is with color display...u can also call them to order it

They won't make another U2 edition, that'd be dumb. They are making a madonna one instead! YAY! God, why do they keep making these signature ipods? Its so dumb.
