What is the Compilation feature under Settings
When I browse to Settings, I saw a Compilations feature inside, it only allow me to 'On' or 'Off' it, may I kno what does it actually do?

it lets you do FUN stuff.
like a mixed CD of artists you only have 1 song for, so you don't end up with a billion artists in your main list. But... it ALSO appears in the main artist if you have other songs.
another not so well known feature of iPod that blows any competition out of the water.

I tried that, but it had songs that were part of an album, so... ?

If you have an album checked as a compilation in iTunes and you have the compilation feature checked on your iPod, it display the album as a whole on your iPod.
For example, I have the Garden State Soundtrack checked as a compilation in iTunes. On my iPod, under compilations, I can select that album and it will play all the tracks.
