I did mine today and got very good results, start by doing the back first and use that as a practice run for the front. The biggest thing is making sure that the surface is very clean and free of dust/oil. The flip it over and start placing it over the front to see the placement before taking off the plastic cover and then remove the cover and start at the bottom and slowly move your way up.
My advice, have a good lint free towel, a roll of tape, and a lot of patience. I watched the video and my install didn't go as smoothly but it does look pretty damn good, but make sure that you get all of the oil from your fingerprints off or you won't get it to stick, I discovered this the hard way on the right side, just a little and it is barely noticeable but I know it is there and I know that it was my fault. I cleaned everywhere very good (especially around the click wheel) and just accidently touched the side and instead of taking it off and recleaning I got the little bubble of non-stick to prove it...patients is a virtue. Watch both of the videos and take your time and you'll be pretty satisfied with the result.
I also knew I wasn't going to use the click wheel cover and sacaficed it on my daughters GBA to get a feel for how smmothly it would go on and how hard air bubbles would be, I would suggest that is you aren't going to use the click wheel cover to experiment and get a feel for how to peel off the plastic cover and how to smooth out air bubbles.
