I just received a new ipod photo 20 gig but i havent opened it on the news of the new generation. the person that bought this for me bought it over a month ago, and i dont think she has the reciept handy, should i just put this on ebay or something or will apple take ipods back that are unopened??

it shouldn't matter where it was bought. it is the same product at all the stores. of course, I have never bought or returned anything at an apple store. But i have made returns to many other stores without receipts or knowledge of where the item was purchased.One time a returned an item to a different store and got more than I paid for it because it was cheaper at the store I bought it :)
anyway, just call or go into your nearest apple store and ask.
