AC/Car charger

I just ordered a 30 GB black ipod as my first ever ipod and was looking to get an AC and car charger. Just a question about compatibility... I found one on ebay that says it's compatible with "iPods with dock connector only including iPod 3rd Generation, iPod 4th Generation, iPod photo, iPod mini and iPod nano " I assume this will be compatible with the new 5G ipod too?? thanks for helping out a newbie :)

i think the charger and any connector that connects to the base of the item will work. only the top headphone postion has been moved to the right (from the earlier position in the center)...arevee at 2007-11-15 12:46:38 >

that makes me sad cuz i really woulda liked it if they kept the port next to the headphone jack so my iTrip can plug in:(squeakerbox at 2007-11-15 12:47:38 >
