When are the new ipods going to be in stores?

i was just wondering if anybody knew when the new ipod will be in the apple store. Up until now and hopefully this will still happen, everytime the new ipod is announced the next day its already in the apple stores. does anybody know if this is going to happen for this one cause im going to go and return my nano 4gb and get this tomorrow. thanx for the help guys.
